Introduction to Ezra’s Eagle

Thousands of years ago, a prophet had a vision and received a prophecy from God that we now call Ezra’s Eagle, because the prophecy included a visual of an eagle with three heads, two wings, and twenty feathers and is from the book of 2 Esdras (Ezra).

This apocryphal prophecy identifies a kingdom in the last days that will rule with great power over the world and will then be destroyed.

The prophecy lines up perfectly with the United States of America beginning with Herbert Hoover. The rest of this article explores the prophecy and seeks to answer the question of why Joe Biden is part of it. It also explains what the prophecy tells us we can expect for the future.

The Ezra’s Eagle Prophecy Text

What follows is the text of the Ezra’s Eagle prophecy written into more plain English. It is taken from the book of 2 Esdras chapters 11 and 12:1-38.

Then I saw in a dream that an eagle came up from the sea. The eagle had twelve feathers on her wings, and she had three heads.

I saw her spread her wings over all the earth, and all the winds of the air blew on her, and were gathered together.

I saw that out of her feathers grew other contrary feathers. The contrary feathers became little and small, but her heads were at rest. The middle head was greater than the others, but all three were resting.

I saw the eagle and her feathers flying and reigning over those who lived on the earth. She was in control of all things under heaven. No one on earth spoke against her.

Then the eagle rose upon her talons and spoke to her feathers, saying, don’t you all watch at the same time. Each of you should sleep until it’s your turn to watch, but let the eagle’s heads be preserved for the end after the rest of you have watched.

The voice I heard wasn’t coming from the eagle’s heads, but it was coming from the midst of her body.

I counted that the eagle had eight contrary feathers.

I saw that on right side of the eagle one feather arose and reigned over all the earth. The end of its reign came, so the next feather stood up and reigned for a long time. Its end came as the other, but it was told by a voice that none after it would attain unto half the time of its rule.

Then the third feather arose and reigned and came to an end. 

The same thing happened with the rest of the feathers on the right side. 

I saw that all twelve feathers stood up to rule, that they ruled, and that then their rule ended, yet some of them were set up to rule but didn’t actually rule. 

I then saw that the twelve feathers and two contrary (or little or small) feathers were gone, and there was nothing else on the eagle’s body except the three resting heads and the other six contrary feathers. 

I saw two of the remaining contrary feathers divide themselves from the other four and go on the right side of the eagle, while the other four remained where they were. And then the four contrary feathers decided to begin their rule.

One was set up but shortly ended, and the second ended sooner that the first. The two remaining also thought to reign, but when they did so the middle resting head, the one that was greater than the other two heads, woke up. The two other heads joined it, and they ate the two feathers that thought to reign.

This great head brought fear to the whole earth and ruled over the people of the earth with a lot of oppression. It had more power over the world than all the other feathers that came before. 

After this, I saw that the great middle head was suddenly gone, similar to the feathers.

There were two heads remaining. The remaining two heads similarly ruled over the people of the earth, but then the head on the right side devoured the head on the left side. 

Then I heard a voice telling me to look and contemplate what I was about to see. 

I saw a roaring lion chased out of the wood. He spoke with a man’s voice to the eagle. He said, listen, God told me to tell you, Aren’t you what remains of the four beasts I made to reign in the world that the end of their times might come through them? And the fourth beast came and overcame the other beasts and had power over the world with great fearfulness, and had power over the whole earth with a lot of wicked oppression, and dwelt on the earth for a long time with deceit.

You haven’t judged the earth with truth. You have afflicted the meek. You have hurt the peaceable. You’ve loved liars, destroyed the dwellings of those that brought forth fruit, and cast down the walls of those that didn’t do you any harm. Therefore, your wrongful dealings came up before the Highest, and your pride unto the Mighty. The highest looked upon your proud times and ended them, and the abominations are fulfilled. 

Therefore, eagle, appear no more, nor your horrible wings, nor your wicked feathers or malicious heads, nor you hurtful claws, nor all of your vain body, so that all of the earth may be refreshed and return, being delivered from your violence, so she may hope for the judgment and mercy of him that made her.

And while the lion spoke these words to the eagle I saw the remaining head and the four contrary feathers end. The two contrary feathers remaining set themselves up to reign, and their kingdom was small with fill of uproar. And I saw them end, and the entire eagle was burned bringing great fear on the earth.

Then I woke up out of my mind’s troubling trance which brought great fear, and I said to my spirit, I have sought to know the ways of the Highest, and now I’m weary in mind and weak in spirit. I have little strength left in me, because of the great fear I felt this night. I will now fervently ask the highest to comfort me unto the end.

I said, Lord who rules, if I’ve found your grace and am justified before you before many others, and if you’ve heard my prayer, comfort me and show me, your servant, the interpretation and plain difference of this fearful vision. In so doing you may perfectly comfort my soul. You have judged me worthy to show me the last days. 

He said, this is the interpretation. The eagle you saw coming up from the sea is the kingdom your brother Daniel saw in vision.

It wasn’t expounded to him, however; therefore, I will now expound it to you.

The days will come when a kingdom will arise on the earth that will be feared above all kingdoms that came before it. Twelve kings will reign in this kingdom, one after the other. In this kingdom, the second king will have more time than any of the other eleven. That’s what the twelve feathers you saw signifies. 

The voice you heard speak that didn’t come from the heads but came from the midst of the body means that after the time of that kingdom there will arise great strivings. It will stand in peril of failing; but, it will not fall then but will be restored again to its beginning.

The eight contrary feathers you saws means that eight kings will arise whose times will be small and years swift. Two of them will perish, the middle time approaching. Four will be kept until the end begins to approach. Two will be kept until the very end. 

The three resting heads you saw means that in the last days the most High will raise up three kings and renew many things in their kingdoms, and they will have dominion of the earth. They will rule with a lot of oppression, above all those before them; therefore, they are called the heads of the eagle. They shall accomplish his wickedness and finish his last end.

You saw the great head appear no more. It means one king will die upon his bed and with pain, and the two remaining will be slain with the sword. The sword of one will devour the other, but the last will fall through the sword himself at his end.

The two contrary feathers you saw going under the head on the right side are those the Highest has kept for the very end. It is the small kingdom full of trouble, which you saw.

The lion you saw rising up out of the wood, and roaring, and speaking to the eagle, and rebuking her for her unrighteousness, is the anointed. The Highest has kept him for them and their wickedness unto the end. He will reprove them and upbraid them for their cruelty. He will judge them, rebuke them, and correct them; but, he will deliver the rest of my people with mercy –– those who have been pressed upon my border. He will make them joyful until the coming of the day of judgment that I told you about from the beginning.

That’s the interpretation of what you saw, and only you have been meet to know this secret of the Highest; therefore, write all these things down and hide them. Teach them to the wise of the people, whose hearts you know will comprehend and will keep these secrets.

Why Ezra’s Eagle Is About America

• The prophecy itself says that it is about the last days; therefore, we know it is a prophecy that has fulfillment in our relative time.
• To get a sense of who this prophecy refers to, we have to take the sequence of events and attempt to match them with a “kingdom” in our time. If you start counting from the point of Herbert Hoover, the prophecy makes sense and matches perfectly. The feather after Hoover, Roosevelt, was elected to 4 terms, which is twice as many as anyone and consistent with the prophecy. John F. Kennedy was assassinated and Nixon resigned near the middle time of the feathers on the one side, identifying the 2 short feathers on that side. Trump became a short feather by being ousted due to election fraud, staying true to the prophecy and identifying the first short feather on the opposite side of the eagle. The odds of this happening are beyond coincidence. It seems clear that this must be about America, that an “Eagle Kingdom” was set up in Hoover’s day and remains on earth, soon to be destroyed. It isn’t just that things are similar, it’s that the very sequence of events is aligned perfectly with the prophecy. I’m aware of no other nation or kingdom with similar alignment; therefore, I’m aware of no other nation or kingdom that fulfills the prophecy. These are the last days; the USA is the dominant nation on Earth; the prophecy matches the USA; therefore, the prophecy is about the USA.

A common criticism of this idea is that there are presidents who don’t seem to align with the prophecy. Some may have died before a term was finished, for example. Wouldn’t they be short feathers? It doesn’t seem to be that someone ended their rule prematurely, but it seems to be why. That brings me to secret combinations, which is an idea explored deeply in the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. From the earliest days of man, beginning with Cain, there was formed among them a secret combination that “glories” in secret abominations and does secret works of evil to get gain. It appears that a secret combination formed in the days preceding or of Herbert Hoover. JFK didn’t just die, he was assassinated. Nixon didn’t die but resigned because of turmoil likely caused by secret combinations. Trump didn’t die but was defeated because of voter fraud. On the other hand, Roosevelt did die before finishing his final term, but his death seems to be from natural causes. So, when trying to understand this prophecy, remember these notes about secret combinations and the reason for the early departure from the amount of time one would have served as POTUS.

Another criticism is that 2 Esdras is apocryphal and was taken out of the Bible, so people think that it is no longer relevant or no longer true. Note what a prophetic leader said he learned from God concerning this point: “There are many things contained therein that are true, and it is mostly translated correctly; there are many things contained therein that are not true, which are interpolations by the hands of men. Therefore, whoso readeth it, let him understand, for the Spirit manifesteth truth; and whoso is enlightened by the Spirit shall obtain benefit therefrom; and whoso receiveth not by the Spirit, cannot be benefited” (J. Smith). So, it has a lot of truth. We just need the Spirit to understand; and if we don’t receive the Spirit, the apocrypha won’t benefit us.

Why Joe Biden Won’t Finish His First Term

Because the prophecy has a perfect track record of fulfillment since the Eagle Kingdom began with Herbert Hoover, it stands to reason that it will continue having a perfect track record with Joe Biden, unless something was lost in translation over time. The prophecy states that the short feather corresponding to Joe Biden will have less time than the one before him, which was Donald Trump. That means that Joe Biden will not finish his current term.

What Ezra’s Eagle Means For the Future

We can expect the following things to occur in the future, based on the prophecy.

• Joe Biden will not finish his first term, presumably in one of the following ways: impeachment and removal from office, resignation, or assassination.
• Two people after Joe Biden will be set up to become President, but they will be eaten by an eagle head, whatever that means.
• The three eagle heads (we don’t yet know exactly what they are, but I have guessed at them being the air, land, and water departments of military, or three past presidents) rule with great oppression and end one after another in some kind of tragedy.
• Two Presidents rule at the very end of the kingdom during a troublous time.
• The eagle is destroyed.

Given the track record of this prophecy, we can expect these things to happen and ought to be prepared for them.
